The club

Twenty years,two generations

From a recreational men’s league in Burnaby to the Premier Division — and then back to the beginning, on purpose.

Our story

It started with friends and a Sunday fixture.

It started with friends and a Sunday fixture. No plan beyond playing: a group in Burnaby entered a recreational men’s league and kept turning up.

They won. Division 3, then Division 2, then the Premier Division of the FVSL — each one outright. A reserve side formed behind them and climbed the same ladder.

Away from the league they travelled and kept winning: Kelowna, Penticton, Kamloops, Squamish, Salt Spring Island, Revelstoke.

Then the players got older. Instead of folding, ACBC started again at the bottom — in the youth ranks, with the founders’ own sons.

How we run

A club, not a customer list.

Built by people who played for it, and still run that way — several of the coaches on the touchline won those divisions themselves.

Families get a real account of how a player is doing, not a scoreline and a wave at the car park.
